Ladies in Red
The University of Utah Piano Area is excited to present a benefit concert featuring the
“Ladies in Red” on Tuesday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Libby Gardner Concert Hall. The
proceeds of this concert will benefit the Title I Piano Area Outreach Program. The
“Ladies in Red” include talented volunteers in the Outreach Program: Ruby Chou, Marry
Anne Huntsman, Lindsey Lambert, Cassie Olsen, and Stella Markova.
Tickets are $10 general admission and $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased
by calling 801-581-7100.
Bart Veldkamp Out At US Speed Skating
The Associated Press has confirmed the three week old rumor that Bart Veldkamp is out as the coach
of the all around speed skating team for the United States. ESPN AP story concerning Bart Veldkamp.
US Speed Skating says that the AP story is correct and that the coaching position is open for
applicants.
Hedrick Promotes Golf Tournament To Suppurt Special Olympics
Olympic Speed Skating Gold Medalist Chad Hedrick is pushing a "Go For The Gold
Golf Tournament" at the Northgate Country Club on April 20th to support Special Olympics
in the Houston area.
